Green Balkans rescue center releases extinct falcons into the wild [2013-05-09]
Hatched about a month ago at the Green Balkans’ Rescue Center, the Saker Falcons Hala, Burq, Vihra, and Vejo (Povej) are now a swing closer to living in the wild.

The first Saker Falcons hatched in the Wildlife Rescue Centre of Green Balkans [2013-04-12]
Some days ago, one after the other, the first four Saker Falcons of 2013 hatched in the aviaries of the Wildlife Rescue Centre of Green Balkans. As the species is extinct from Bulgaria, the hatching of the fluffy chicks is a genuine success and hope for the return of the species in the country.

Raivo the Black Stork is in Bulgaria on the way to its nest in Estonia [2013-03-05]
On March 3d 2013 volunteers of Green Balkans observed a Black Stork with a transmitter and a ring 7014 at a micro-reservoir near Chirpan. It turned out this was Raivo - an Estonian stork with a very interesting story!
